September Progress Update

Sorry for the late update, God Hunters! Things are a little hectic in my life right now. ^^;
There's unfortunately not a lot to say this month. Translation is continuing, though slowly (I'll be able to explain why in a future update), and we're nearing completion.
When the final text is completed, I'll put an update here to tell you when you'll be able to download the completed final manuscript. This will be, as said previously, the entire book in English without art or layout. I can't promise it'll be this month, but soon.

Amy here. How can summer already be over, God Hunters?! It came and went so fast! My inner child died a little bit more...
Anyway, we're still working on the text of Kamigakari. Nothing new to report, I'm afraid. I'm still not comfortable giving a final date for the manuscript or PDF, but rest assured progress is being made!
Oh, hey, are you guys gonna be at PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia this year? I probably won't be, but I'll have people demoing Kamigakari: God Hunters there! More information is coming, but basically there'll be a team of DMs ready and willing to run a sample session of Kamigakari for anyone that shows up at the appropriate location! It'll be lots of fun.
Okay, time for some important news. It's important because I'm gonna use a headline to make sure you all see it. Ready? Here we go!
THERE ARE TWENTY-SEVEN BACKERS THAT DID NOT FILL OUT THEIR BACKERKIT SURVEYS, AND UNLESS THEY CORRECT THAT MISTAKE, THEY WILL NOT RECEIVE THEIR REWARDS.
THERE ARE ALSO NINE PEOPLE THAT FILLED OUT THE SURVEYS AND PRE-ORDERED ADDITIONAL CONTENT, BUT HAVE DECLINED OR INVALID CREDIT CARDS. WITHOUT A VALID CREDIT CARD NUMBER, THEY WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING EITHER.
Ow, that was really hard on my throat. Okay, so basically if you never got a backerkit link, especially those of you that changed your email address or lost the survey link, pre-ordered something but never got charged, or just never filled anything out, go here, and punch in the e-mail address associated with your Kickstarter account. That should fix you right up. Don't message me, because at this stage I can't really help, it's a matter of you guys filling out the surveys.

Early Access
Hey, lookee there! There's new stuff! Working through the night(s), I have completed (part of) the GM Chapter, and all the Mononoke, anomalies, and boss talents! Yay! Here's some links for those:

You may notice that the GM Chapter document is not complete. That's because the GM Chapter is special, and was basically split down the middle between Ewen and me. Ewen's still in recovery, so you only got my parts, but! But, all the crunchy stats are in the second link, so now you can officially play a game of Kamigakari using EA rules! Yaaay!
Errata from Monster Book (Actual Title Forthcoming)
You may remember when we mentioned a little about Shinkai Yagyou, the newest Kamigakari book to be released? It's basically a monster book, filled to the brim with Mononoke and other cool GM stuff. Though a lot of them (if not all of them) are reprints of existing creatures, the point is that the book provides a single source for GMs to go to, rather than having to paw through multiple books. It also has lots of other goodies for GMs, but the important part for this post is that the book also serves for errata on basically every reprinted monster.
In short, we got the OK from Arclight to backport all that errata into the core book. This is good, because it provides some much needed balance for when Contractor Omega gets released (in the upcoming Requiem book). It also clarifies some rules, and makes some minor adjustments here and there (lots of weakness tweaks, one monster got a brand new ability, Magical Girls are now friendly). These changes are already in the above link, so have fun examining everything! (And of course subject to editing/even more proofs. So many proofs.)

The Road Ahead
I don't want to alarm anyone but the primary translation is nearly entirely complete! Holy heck! And while the files we've uploaded for the EA were unedited, in truth the editors have already been through most of what we've posted (I... I just finished the GM chapter, so not that one, of course). I think I can safely declare us on the back half of this project, and the uphill part's over. Stay tuned, and may your numen always refresh!
